AFP-WI Applauds Vice President Vance Highlighing “Big Beautiful Bill” in La Crosse, Despite Democratic Opposition

La Crosse, WI – Vice President JD Vance will visit La Crosse today to promote the benefits of the landmark legislation President Trump signed into law in July, known as the One Big Beautiful Bill. The visit is part of the administration’s nationwide tour to showcase how the law is lowering costs, creating jobs, and fueling American manufacturing.

At a local steel fabricating facility, Vance will highlight the bill’s impact on Wisconsin families and workers. According to the Tax Foundation, the average Wisconsin family will see a $2,099 annual tax cut and the legislation is projected to support the creation of 14,939 jobs across the state.

Despite these benefits, Democrats continue to protest provisions of the law. Their opposition underscores the contrast between Washington obstruction and the administration’s focus on delivering results for working families.

AFP-Wisconsin State Director Megan Novak said:

“The Big Beautiful Bill is already making a difference for Wisconsinites, putting an average of over $2,000 back into taxpayers’ pockets and creating nearly 15,000 jobs. That’s real relief and real opportunity for families across our state. While some politicians would rather score partisan points, we welcome Vice President Vance’s visit to La Crosse to highlight how these policies are strengthening our communities.”
