Schimel Stumps Crawford in Supreme Court Debate

Madison, WI – In tonight’s debate, Brad Schimel proved why he is the only candidate fit to serve on Wisconsin’s Supreme Court.

AFP-WI State Director Megan Novak released the following statement:

“Tonight, Wisconsinites heard from two candidates with very different perspectives on the future of Wisconsin. Susan Crawford’s radical history and partisan agenda is bad for Wisconsin. Brad Schimel is a candidate who will prioritize public safety and restore integrity to our court—where commonsense rules over partisanship. It’s imperative that we elect Brad Schimel on April 1 to save our state and save our country.”

Background:

  • Susan Crawford openly fundraised on the “chance to flip two congressional seats” and steal the U.S. House majority to stop America’s comeback. Brad Schimel will reject partisan politics and restore integrity to our state’s highest court.
  • Susan Crawford has fought against Act 10, a law that has saved Wisconsin taxpayers over $31 billion. Brad Schimel will do what is right and protect workers’ freedoms and Wisconsin taxpayers.
  • Susan Crawford has a track record of working for partisan clients and if elected, would advance her radical, political agenda rather than the rule of law. Brad Schimel will rule on facts to preserve our Constitutional rights.
  • Susan Crawford’s soft-on-crime history means Wisconsinites are less safe if she is elected. Brad Schimel is endorsed by 80 sheriffs has dedicated his entire career to keeping Wisconsin safe and protecting our communities.
