On AFP-WI’s involvement in the Supreme Court race:

“This is not the first Supreme Court race we have endorsed, but is definitely the earliest we’ve jumped in to back a candidate… We endorsed Brad shortly after November elections wrapped up and our amazing team of passionate grassroots activists have been door-knocking since before Thanksgiving for Brad.”

On AFP-WI’s endorsement of Schimel:

“When you talk to Wisconsinites, voters want someone…who is authentic, and that’s Brad.”

“[Brad] is in it for right reasons, he wants to protect Wisconsin, and he believes in the future of our state. And that translates to voters. They can feel that authenticity from Brad directly and that’s been really refreshing to hear on the doors.”

“When we are out talking to voters, you can feel this kind of ground shift happening of a return to normalcy… people want consistency.”

On the impact of the Supreme Court race:

“When you look at what our state supreme court has been doing in the last year and a half and some of their rulings, it is basically whiplash…  there’s no sense of precedent.”

“The impacts of [Supreme Court opinions] are felt and people don’t want that whiplash. We don’t want the drama in Wisconsin and that is translating to more support for Brad Schimel.”
