ICYMI: AFP-WI’s Megan Novak on Fox News Radio: “The Guy Benson Show” Discussing Wisconsin Supreme Court Election

In case you missed it, Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin (AFP-WI) State Director Megan Novak joined host Guy Benson on Fox News’ Guy Benson Show Thursday afternoon to discuss the national implications of the Wisconsin Supreme Court election and what’s at stake this April 1st for our state and for our country.

Listen to full interview HERE.

On what’s at stake for our country:

“What’s really at stake, and the opponent in this race Susan Crawford who’s a progressive leftist… is fundraising–that they are looking at putting two congressional seats in play for 2026 for democrats to take back the majority through the Wisconsin Supreme Court. They want to gerrymander those two seats in Wisconsin to put the majority at play so they can stop the Trump agenda and everything that Trump is doing at the national level through a Wisconsin Supreme Court race that [they think] not many people are paying attention to.”

On Schimel’s sincerity vs. Crawford’s crookedness:

“Brad has great support within the state of Wisconsin from fundraising and actual grassroots donors that are backing him because they know what’s at stake in this election, whereas you look at his opponent Susan Crawford and she has money pouring in from people like George Soros and Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker through the Democrat parties that are funding her–millions of dollars from out-of-state interest because they know if they can flip this seat on the Wisconsin Supreme Court, they can push their progressive agenda in Wisconsin where they have been unable to do so so far because of our Republican legislature.”

On stopping Democrat’s political lawfare:

“It’s not just [Act 10] that’s on the line–it is the entire progressive agenda that they will try and implement through the courts because they can’t win anywhere else in Wisconsin…

“…If Brad Schimel, the conservative, wins we will flip that seat back and we will have a conservative majority on the Wisconsin Supreme Court so we can stop the liberal lawfare that’s been happening in our state.”

On AFP-WI’s endorsement of Schimel:

“Brad Schimel has the experience–he was a prosecutor for over 20 years, a District Attorney, Attorney General of Wisconsin…and is an overall rule of law, pro-Constitution, pro-public safety candidate.”

On Susan Crawford’s soft-on-crime record:

“As a mom it’s really hard to talk about when you think about someone who takes advantage and is a predator towards children and then goes in front of Susan Crawford and instead of a 100-year sentence that he was eligible for he gets…less than 10 years. Someone who’s now back out on the streets…because of Susan Crawford’s ruling.”

Background:

AFP-WI has reached out to over 175,000 voters in support of Brad Schimel since first endorsing Schimel on November 13th. Since then, our grassroots activists have been out in full force and will continue the momentum through Election Day on April 1st.
