We're back with another interactive social media workshop! This installment will focus on video editing to bring your content to the next level and keep your followers engaged. You will work on reel/video editing basics to enhance your social skills to drive people to action. You'll choose an issue, shoot a short video, and you can then create a 30-60 sec reel/video. The event will be facilitated by our AFP-WI Digital Engagement Director, Michelle Faretta. Dinner and drinks will be provided for those who register. We hope to see you there!
Join us for an educational evening in Balmer Park with Rep. Neylon (plus Pete's Pops!) Rep. Neylon will discuss the recent Supreme Court ruling that overturns the JCRAR's powers–and how this connects with Gov. Evers' harmful top-down approach to governance. We'll also feature outdoor activities, snacks, drinks, and a selection of delicious (plus slightly adventurous) popsicle flavors from Pete's Pops! Swing by to join the fun!
Governor Evers' 400-year property tax hike will put a burden on our hardworking businesses and families–and make everything from grocery trips to routine haircuts more unaffordable. That's why we're partnering with Forever Faded Barbershop in Waukesha to provide complimentary haircuts for the first 100 children whose parents register for this event. We'll feature outdoor activities and complimentary concessions will be provided for families waiting for cuts while supplies last. IMPORTANT INFO: This event is for school-aged children entering 3K-8th grade. Registration is mandatory to receive the complimentary cut(s). You will see the option to register guests, this is where you will enter your child's first name, last name, and a required zip code.
