Madison, WI – Americans for Prosperity-Wisconsin (AFP-WI) today announced its endorsement of State Senator Duey Stroebel (SD-08) for the Wisconsin State Senate.
AFP-WI State Director Megan Novak made the following statement:
“We are excited to support Senator Stroebel for the Wisconsin State Senate as our first legislative endorsement this year. Duey is a strong partner in fighting to advance freedom and opportunity, and is a principled legislator with a track record of standing for good policy that puts Wisconsinites first.
“As the state’s premier grassroots organization, AFP-WI is on the ground every day talking with Wisconsinites about the issues that impact them the most, and we know Duey isn’t afraid to stand up for Wisconsin principles. We will put our full grassroots support behind him to ensure Wisconsinites have strong leaders who continue to fight for our best interests, and not the special interests of Madison.”
Duey is a proven policy champion who fights for Wisconsinites on the issues they care about the most. He played a pivotal role in defeating efforts to increase our utility bills, he has led efforts to lower taxes, and championed historic funding for education while increasing access to education freedom options across the state. Duey is a consistent voice in advocating for free markets and economic competition over corporate welfare and cronyism.
